Obituary

Charlotte L. Williams affectionally known as “Cha Cha” was the second oldest of four children, born January 9, 1967, in Cleveland, OH to Elathia M. Williams and Benjamin Williams Jr. (father preceded her in death)
Charlotte attended John Marshall High School. She had a love for driving and at the tender age of eighteen, she began driving eighteen wheelers, event though at the time, most companies’ requirement age to drive was twenty -one years old. This didn’t stop Cha Cha, she was able to connect with a mentor, who allowed her to drive, and she learned while on the road, driving long distance. She was also very good with her hands, making steps, painting and mechanical, a special A trait she picked up from her father. In addition to being a “rockstar” driving, her other hobbies included being an excellent cook and baker.
Although Charlotte did not have any children of her own, it never stopped her from being the super Auntie to her first-born niece Nettie. Charlotte loved Nettie as her own and most would have thought Nettie was her child. However, she loved all her nieces and nephews and they loved her, always humbly referring to her as Auntie Cha Cha. Charlotte spent her whole life taking care of family, not limited to taking providing shelter to family members in need to taking care of her then ill mother.
Her nieces and nephew fondly cherish memories of their Auntie Cha Cha and have plenty of stories about her making them eat broccoli, liver or anything Cha Cha deemed healthy.
Charlotte (Cha Cha) Williams leaves to cherish her life legacy, brother Collin D. Sullivan (Michquel), sister Candace William’s and Benjamin L. Williams Sr. (Erica Williams) and a host of Nieces and nephew: Elathia Williams, Benjamin L. Williams IV, Mylonne D. Sullivan, Ashleigh King, Aaron Penn, Rainese Williams, Davon Johnson, Jeremiah Benson, Maxwell King, Cailynn Sullivan, Davon Johnson, Sydney Williams, Trayvon Martin, Jamarion Singleton, Sean Nixon, four great nieces and three great nephews. Her nephew Devin Dainels preceded her in death.
