Clark Schaeffer Obituary

Clarke Randall Schaeffer
Born July 12, 1947 – Warren, OH
Died November 23, 2020, Parma, OH

Preceded in death by his father, Claude, mother, Janis and niece Kellie Lee. Survived by brother, Terry (Anita), half brother, Carson (Pamela), nephews Brandon, Derek, and Jonathan, and nieces Jodie (Borchert), Jennifer (Prok) and Kari (Zeaider).

Clarke always went by Randy, from his middle name Randall. He was a caring and gentle person who loved nature, animals and children. As a devoted son he lovingly cared for his chronically ill and disabled father, and later his mother for over 35 years.

Randy had worked as a part time landscaper for the golf course in Loudonville, Ohio.

As a teenager Randy thoroughly enjoyed playing competitive sports, excelling as a high school running back in football, and in track and field, where was a standout as a pole-vaulter in Fort Myers FL, at Fort Myers High School.

Born into the Christian faith of Jehovah’s Witnesses, he later made a personal dedication to Jehovah God and was baptized in 1960. He was an avid Bible reader and a student of Bible prophecy. He always looked for opportunities to share his faith and his hope for a new earthly paradise to come under God’s Kingdom (Revelation 21:1-4).

Randy fell asleep in death with a solid faith in an earthly resurrection, as taught by Jesus in the Bible’s gospel accounts (John 5:28-29).
