Rick is the second oldest born to the union of Edward and Patricia Fields out of six siblings. Ronald, who preceded him in death, Brandon, Brian, Brent(deceased),and baby sister Bristol. Also, Big brother Edward Jr., and Cynthia Robinson (deceased). Along with Wendy Woods and Dawn Walker.


Ricks’legacy will carried on by 5 children. Lisa, Ramall, Karen(Wayne), Kim, and Ricardo. Six grandchildren, a host of nephews and nieces.

Along with Marcie, the mother of his children. Additionally his log time friend Karen.


When the name Rick Fields comes to mind, “Man”(Rick); He was loved by all whom he met.


Rick was definitely a world traveler. He has traveled to the west shores of Africa, the Caribbean Islands, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Puerto Vista. Just to name a few.


Rick was a true Tarblooder (Glenville), but graduated from South High School in Springfield, Ohio in 1971. Rick also earned a Bachelor’s of Science In Biology from Wilberforce University in 1975. As a graduate he was Magna Cum Laude and won many awards and honors.


Rick just wanted to thank all family and friend for there love and support and all the wonderful times on Earth. His favorite saying from Allah(God) was this…Verily for every difficulty there is relief. Remember…Verily for every difficulty there is relief.


The King of the Fields pride has gone to paradise. “Long live the king.”


We will miss you…you will always remain in our hearts.


Go in peace…Go In Peace My Brother.
