Willie Penny Obituary










Willie James Penny was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Willie was born on October 30, 1950 in Columbus, Mississippi to Luther and Patsy Penny whom preceded him in death. Willie was a loving brother to Corrine Penny who also preceded him in death. He accepted Christ at an early age.Willie James was united in Holy Matrimony to Mary Penny.Willie was a hard worker at Garfield Alloy Manufacturing Company in his early years. During Willie's free time he enjoyed cooking, talking to his friends, and Wild Irish Rose. He was such a caring and giving person, he didn't have much but he would give you his last. Willie leaves to cherish his memories one son, Edward Fitzgerald Penny; stepdaughters, Renee Boker and Rona Stokes of Columbus, MS, and children he helped raise with his wife Mary, who lives here in Ohio; Katherine, Wanda Rosemary, Frank, Eddie, Richard, and son-in-law, Derrick; grandchildren, Shereya affectionately known to him as Scoota Bota, Traylon, Derricka, Derrick Jr., and a host of other children, great grandchildren; Family members in Canton, Ohio, Cassandra Kay Cook and Traci Alexander and a host of other family members from Canton, Ohio. He also leaves behind friends that are related by the heart who provided him with exceptional love and support. Signora, Cynthia, Margaret, Lucille, and Toya. Willie will truly be missed by all whose lives he touched.
