Williard Kirkland Obituary

Willard J. Kirkland, age 90 passed peacefully on December 21, 2018. He was preceded in death by his first wife Essie, second wife Geraldine and daughter Jean. He leaves to mourn his passing and celebrate his life his brother Thomas (Mamie) of Atlanta, two sons Nikolas and Bruce and two daughters Grace (Michael) and Sylvia. Cherishing his memory are 19 grandchildren 24 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren 1 great great great grandchild, 2 nieces, 3 nephews, and far too many cousins and life long friends to name here. Willard was known for his ready smile, infectious laugh, wonderful sense of humor, upbeat and free spirit and genuine zeal for life and family. He was a hard worker and devoted/committed father. He loved the game of golf and chance! He will be terribly missed and will always be loved as he remains in our hearts forever. We will always love you and miss you Daddy, Grandpa/Papa, Brother, Unc, Mex, Big Will!!!
