Catherine Deloris Thurman

Catherine Thurman was born on December 8, 1951 to Herbert Sr. and Pecolla Thurman. She attended Cleveland Public Schools and graduated from Glenville High. She worked at Whitecliff Manor for several years as Nurse Aide until she resigned to care for her children. She attended Olivet Institutional Baptist Church and Restoration Ministries of Greater Cleveland, Inc. throughout her lifetime. She enjoyed doing word search puzzles, listening to gospel music and loved animals. She is preceded in death by her parents, her siblings Linda and Gregory, and her niece Saundra. Catherine is survived in life by her children Anthony and Latonya Thurman, two grandchildren Anthony Thurman Jr. and Ava Thurman, siblings: Herbert Thurman Jr., Maxine (Peewee- brother in law) Smith, Horace from Ellensville, NY and Brinda Thurman, and a host of nieces and nephews as well as grandnieces and grandnephews. Funeral services will be held Monday March 22, 2021 at the funeral home
