In Loving Memories of our Mom Eva Mae Phillip

Our mom was born on Feb 18, 1931, in Chattanooga TN to the Late Lonnie Harper and Eula Ross

She was a graduate of Howard High School in Chattanooga TN, after graduating, she married and relocated to Cleveland Oh.where she spent the next 25 years dedicating her life to her family, her church, and her jobs one being at the Cleveland Convention Center

After life’s changes, she married the late Albert Phillips and returned home to Chattanooga to care for her aging mother and grandmother

She picked up the civil mantel and served at the polling centers helping others carry out their civlc dutie
It was always a joy to receive one of the personalized homemade cards that she loved to make and send to family and friend
She departed peacefully on October 26, 2020, in Cleveland, OH. Our mom was a member of the United Methodist Church in Garfield Heights, OH.
Among those who proceeded her in death, her father Lonnie, her mother Eula; her husband Albert Phillips, daughters Janet and Jill Jackson, son Anthony (Wayne) Jackson.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving daughters Venita Jackson-Gyimah of Rosharon, TX, Denise Yvonne Jackson of Cleveland, OH, Grandchildren, Raquel Jackson, of Cleveland Oh. April Jackson of Chattanooga TN, Tamika (Donald) Johnson of Jacksonville, NC; Michael (Niki) Hamlin of Leesburg VA, Comanisa Jackson of Lanett AL; Keith (Anita) Hamlin and Kenneth (Aja) Hamlin both of Houston, TX, Ra’Mone Jackson, Todd and Anthony Moreland all from Cleveland Ohio 25 Great-grandchildren; 19 Great-Great Grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends
Her final resting place will be at Highland Cemetery in Chattanooga, TN

We the family of Eva Phillips would like to thank her church family, United Methodist Church, for visiting her and the muffins which she enjoyed! The Community Senior Center which she attended faithfully. Esther Rose for being a devoted cousin, Randy, who was like a son to her. For everyone who said a prayer, sent a card, called, or took the time to come and visit to sit with her - my sister and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We ask that you pray for us as we adjust to our lives without our mother.
